Case Study: 3D printing used in an interesting way to engage pupils (finally!)

We skip over a lot of 3D printing projects in schools as we’ve found the engagement opportunities tend not to match the hype (cynical? us?). But this article is worth a read as it examines how an LA high school has looked to 3D printing, programming and open-source robotics to get pupils excited about STEAM. Project Magnify’s ambition and impact might just point toward more potential than we thought for 3D printing to enable enriching programmes for young people.. We live and learn.
