Bumper shortlist announced for the 2022 Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Fixperts Awards.

The RCA Helen Hamlyn Fixperts Award champions human-centred design and through a call out to universities across the world we have received an incredible set of entries from 10 universities, across 5 countries comprising England, Ireland, Israel, Japan and South Africa.

We are delighted to share the shortlist of entries below. The RCA judges will look for submissions which show ingenuity, empathy and innovation whilst focusing on health, and social benefit.

Cooking Utensils for Trisala and her brother

At the University of Brighton, Tatiana works with her Fix Partner Trisala to create a cooking utensil for her brother who has low grip mobility within his hands.
