The 2026 RCA Helen Hamlyn Fixperts Awards to be part of INCLUDE LONDON 2026
This year we have an additional award, The Julia Cassim Fixperts Award.
Julia was a close friend of Fixperts, a super user and mentoring colleague. This award is dedicated and celebrating Cassim’s visionary international leadership in inclusivity through design. The criteria for The Helen Hamlyn Centre of Design Fixperts Award 2026 are – the relationship with the Fix Partner, ingenuity of the solution, the process of improvement and the quality of the storytelling.
The Julia Cassim Fixperts Award will celebrate a project that engaged with people who live with disabilities with special attention to co-creation between the design team and their partner.
The prestigious awards are a unique and inspiring partnership initiated by the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design in 2013! We’re especially excited to see this year’s projects and celebrate them all on the occasion of this event.
The awards will be judged by a Helen Hamlyn Center of Design Jury. They will be looking for two outstanding projects which positively impacted on the Fix Partner’s daily life with a focus on health, access, inclusion, engaging with ageing community or social benefit.
The awards are open to any Fixperts project from the last academic year by 31st July 2026.
Submissions are to be made by sending a link to a shareable short film (up to 3 min long) and details through the link in the Click here to enter! button below.

You can do this through the submission form or if you have any questions or issues, email us directly at fixperts@wegoforth.org. Make your film downloadable and give permission to show the film in a public setting. Please note you need to have permission to use any music in your soundtrack.
