UTCs – back from the dead?
University Technical Colleges had been declared a failed experiment. But now The National Foundation for Educational Research have released a report saying ‘project-based learning and employer involvement has helped to create more well-rounded, work-ready students’. We’re interested in the approach, but terrified of the bear pit that all change in the sector has become. Worth thinking about as we rush to judge newcomers in the field.
