Teacher explains creative problem-solving skills are lacking in the workplace
We’re always scanning for examples of inventive approaches to hands-on learning in the classroom, and so we were impressed by Nebraska Public Power District, who’ve funded 10 STEM labs. So far so normal, but with the main goal to develop young people’s problem-solving skills, there’s a welcome shift in focus. Anything which moves away from the result being a robot makes for encouraging reading.
