Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Fixperts Award 2020 is open for submissions.

Calling all undergraduate Fixperts! We’re looking for inspirational Fixperts projects from the last 18-months to apply for the Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Fixperts Award 2020.

The prestigious award champions human-centred design across all disciplines. The Helen Hamlyn judging panel will be looking for extraordinary projects which positively impacts the Fix Partner’s daily life with a focus on health, the ageing community and social benefit. Each project will be evaluated on the following three areas – the relationship with the Fix Partner, ingenuity of the solution and the quality of the storytelling.

This remarkable recognition, now in its 8th year, has become a key moment in Fixperts story but we understand that things may be a little different this year. Some projects may have been affected by the pandemic, whilst some may have been a direct response to the restrictions that we’ve experienced during these unprecedented times. If this is the case with your project, please add details within the submission form, we’d love to hear from you.

Complete the submission form with information on the project and the people involved. You only need to enter once per project.

Please remember if you’re not writing your own music you need to have permission to use it. Make sure that the music is marked as royalty free – you can download tracks online.
